St. Bernard Parish (New Orleans) Animal Shelter

Maggie's remaining food (unopened) and medicine, along with a cash contribution, will be donated to the St. Bernard Parish Animal Shelter in New Orleans to assist canine survivors of Hurricane Katrina.

You can make your own donation to the St. Bernard Animal Shelter through Network for Good. Your donation will go to Friends of the Animal Shelter of St. Bernard, which brought in less than $20,000 in income in 2004, so every bit will help.

Alternatively, you may donate to The Humane Society of the United States by clicking here. HSUS has put out a desperate plea for donations to help fund National Disaster Animal Response Teams (DART), which have been deployed from around the country to rescue stranded pets along the Gulf Coast.
